HP Hit points are calculated by your Stamina stat. You multiply it by fifteen and get your base HP. Ranks can give you a HP bonus, as can post count.
CP Chakrah points are calculated by your Reserves stat. You multiply this by seven and get your base CP. Ranks can give you a CP bonus, as can post count. CP is used to fight. For each jutsu, you must burn one CP point per turn.
HP/CP bonus per rank: Academy Student = 10 Genin = 20 Chuunin = 30 Jounin = 40 ANBU = 50
These points are used for both HP and CP. We don't care how much you use for either. So, if you were a rank Genin, you could add 10 points to HP and 10 to CP, or 20 to HP and 0 to CP, however you wanted to do it.
For example: You have a Strength of 6, so your base HP is 6x15=90. You have a Reserves of 6, so your base CP is 6x7=42. You are an ANBU, so you get a bonus of 50 points. You decide to use half in each, so your final totals are 90+25=115 and 42+25=67.
Post Count Post count is used to figure your rank and for awarding new stat points. Most players will start as Academy Students with a post count of 0, except with permission from the admins. Posts are only counted in combat boards, so usual RP does not count towards it. For every 20 posts, you are awarded 5 stat points to distribute as you wish.
Post Count Ranking 0 posts = Academy Student 150 posts = Genin 375 posts = Chuunin 550 posts = Jounin 1000 posts = ANBU
